Family's Introduction to Au Pair
Job Description
Caring for boys 4, 7 and 10,
Starting ASAP,
40 hours a week over 5 days, with some flexibility,
Live-in, with separate accommodation, or Live-out
Shared care
Looking for a fun, gentle, playful, engaging nanny/governess who is open minded, adventurous, committed to growing and learning, enthusiastic, creative and resourceful. Someone who is grounded, respectful and able to read the children’s cues. The family homeschools in a very child-led capacity and currently has a Governor who you would be working closely with. The position would suit someone who loves nature and who is flexible yet intentional and organized and cares deeply about the growth and development of little ones.
The family are health conscious and alternative-minded, they have a gentle and playful approach to parenting, and are very involved in their children’s daily lives. Both parents work from home and are ideally looking for a long-term nanny and/or governess who can embark on this journey in life with them, making strong connections along the way.
The candidate must be warm, compassionate, and eager to help. Driving is required to help transport the children. International travel between the EU, US, and Argentina.
Duties:
Being attuned to the children's needs and intentional about their growth and development
Creating engaging child-centered activities
Supporting the children with their interests the world around them
Lots of outdoor activities and connecting with nature, making art and crafts, doing projects and following the children's lead
Preparing snacks for the children (dairy, grain and sugar free diet), taking them to activities, packing the appropriate items for various activities, keeping the children's spaces tidy and organized, and managing day to day schedule and logistics
English fluency is essential for the role. Driver's license is also required.
Non-smoker. Willingness to travel.
Salary: Flexible for the right person.
