We are a friendly family living in Oud Zuid, Amsterdam, looking for a full-time live-in au pair to care for our 6-year-old daughter and support our household, while enjoying an enriching cultural experience in the Netherlands.

This is a nurturing and flexible role combining childcare with light household support, especially during travel.

About Our Daughter

Age: 6, bilingual in English & German

School: British School, 08:30–15:15, 5 days/week

Hobbies: ballet, piano, painting, swimming, and playdates with friends

We are looking for someone who can be a caring companion and help maintain routines, ideally for long term.

About Us

Both parents work full-time and travel regularly (3–4 business days per week)

The household is fully staffed with a private assistant and 2 housekeepers

We enjoy family activities, culture, and occasional travel

Your Role

Care for our daughter and support her daily routines, schoolwork, and activities

Organize outings, playdates, and fun learning experiences

Prepare simple meals/snacks and help with light household tasks (mostly when traveling)

Travel with the family on holidays and business trips

Schedule :

5 days/week, flexible with mornings, evenings, and weekends

Some evening babysitting required

Requirements

Previous experience with children

Caring, patient, and responsible

Mother tongue english speaking, or german & english speaking

EU residency/work permit required

Comfortable traveling internationally
