We are a mixed family, comprising of a Portuguese husband and a Hong Kongese wife, seeking a dedicated and experienced Nanny/Au Pair to join our household. Our primary requirement is to find an individual who is fluent in English and has previous experience caring for infants, as our son is 6 months old.

Responsibilities:

Providing Quality Care: The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the well-being, safety, and development of our 6-month-old son. This includes feeding, bathing, changing diapers, and engaging in age-appropriate activities that promote growth and development.

Creating a Nurturing Environment: We seek a caring and nurturing individual who can provide a warm and loving environment for our child. Encouraging play, stimulating their senses, and fostering their cognitive and social skills will be a key aspect of the role.

Maintaining Routine: Establishing and maintaining a consistent daily routine will be crucial for our child's development. The candidate must be capable of following and adapting to the existing schedule, including feeding times, naps, and playtime.

Engaging in Educational Activities: We value early education, and the candidate should be enthusiastic about implementing age-appropriate educational activities, such as reading, storytelling, and introducing sensory experiences to support our child's growth and development.

Light Housekeeping: Although the primary focus is on childcare, we expect the candidate to assist with light housekeeping duties related to the child. This may include tidying up the nursery, doing baby laundry, and keeping areas clean and organized.

Requirements:

Fluency in English: The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written English skills to effectively communicate and interact with our family members.

Infant Care Experience: Previous experience caring for infants is essential. The candidate should have a solid understanding of infant development milestones, feeding schedules, and techniques for providing a safe and nurturing environment.

Patience and Adaptability: Taking care of an infant requires patience, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The candidate should be flexible in their approach and able to handle unexpected situations.
