Family's Introduction to Au Pair
We are a British, Belgian, Burundian family with a 14 month old daughter, Mathilde. We both work for the UN and love to travel. Mathilde is warm, social, loves animals and loves to play outside. We have a house with a garden and pond and we live next to Appia Antica which is perfect for long walks and very close to Rome city centre.
Job Description
We'd like a nanny to take care of Mathilde during our working hours (approx 9-5 + commute) Monday to Friday and a half day at some point over the weekend that would be negotiable. This would include managing her routine and naps, ensuring she's clean and fed with healthy meals and engaged in activities that are stimulating and development-age appropriate. We would employ a cleaner once/twice a week so some light housekeeping support in between those days would be helpful.
Mathilde is energetic, loves being outside, close to nature and loves animals. We would like her to be bilingual and would request that French be prioritised. She is already walking if not running and starting to say her first words. She's a good eater, and her favourite things are the cat, leaves/flowers and playing outside with balls or water.
Generally speaking we're not strict with a routine/rules, aside from her nap and bedtimes which we like to keep stable.
We have a cat, which when we're out of town we'd request for some catsitting support, albeit simple, ensuring clean water and food and letting her in and out the house to play.
Accommodation wise, we live in a 4 bedroom apartment. There is a single bedroom with an en-suite that would be the nanny accommodation.
