We are seeking full time support (or an au-pair arrangementfor with the right candidate) for our 3 year old son Nick. Both parents are Italian and lived in the USA for more than 20 years. Nick was born in the US, speaks mainly Italian but understands English and goes to an international school.

We are looking for an experienced girl that can pick him up from preschool in the afternoon (around 17:00) and spend a few hours with him until dinner time. We seek someone with some flexibility, who can, on a case-by-case basis, stay a bit later in the evening and/or weekends. I do not expect it to be on a regular basis, and we are open to working around the your schedule.

Native language is not too relevant, our preference would be for either Italian or English (and for an English speaker, knowledge of Italian is not necessary), but can consider Spanish, French or German.

In addition to caring for Nick, we would like someone who is OK helping with some minor errands, light house keeping, cooking. Availability to travel with us occasionally would also be a plus: we sometime spend a few days at Nick's grandparents, or a few days at the beach.

About us: we recently relocated to Italy from the Washington DC area. My wife works at the University of Bologna while I am an executive in the high-tech sector. We live in the heart of Bologna, literally a stone away from the towers and Piazza Maggiore. Nick is a fun, energetic, inquisitive, talkative little human being.
