My name is Andrew, and I am a single-dad (divorced) that has just received parental custody of my children (Aidan 5 and Alex 10). I still have to go to work everyday (M-F), and this will be difficult to do and also be able to meet all of the boys needs, without some additional help. I am looking for a nanny that has experience with boys and understands how to talk to them at their level so that they feel like they are being heard and respected.
The boys are very smart and active. They enjoy riding bikes, playing at the park, exploring, swimming, doing DIY activities, and all the other stuff boys do. They love Minecraft and Roblox video games as well (in reasonable amounts and only after chores/homework are done).
We live and eat a healthy lifestyle. I cherish the morning and evening routines with them and rarely would need help in the morning or past dinner time. The boys are usually up by 6:30am and in bed by 8-8:30pm.
I am a very open person and receptive to any suggestions to make things better for the boys. If you are selected and agree to help, you will absolutely have a voice and any concerns/suggestions you have will be heard.
I don't really know what else to say here, but I do look forward to meeting you and see if this is a good fit for my family as well as yourself.

Divorced dad (American) gaining custody of children and is seeking a nanny/au pair for 2 wonderful school-age boys (5 & 10). I am looking for someone that has experience with young boys a caring personality, and currently lives within Germany. We live in the Wiesbaden area, and would not be able to sponsor a work visa.
Work would entail receiving the children off of school bus and provide care and supervision until early evening (6pm) when I get home from work, Monday - Friday.
I would need someone to help with the children's homework, perform some light cleaning (dishes/pick-up toys), and meal preparation (snacks/dinner).
Our family speaks English, so candidate must be fluent in English... however Dad can speak German. Helping the boys learn German would be a bonus.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be requested, but only with prior coordination and at an agreed additional per/hr fee.
A live-in opportunity is possible, and would include a bedroom, private bathroom and additional room on your own floor (furnished and approx 80 sq meters). Kitchen and common areas would be shared with the family. Your privacy and personal time will be respected.
