Family's Introduction to Au Pair
Hi dear future live in family care taker.
We are an Icelandic family living in Germany now for almost 3 years. We live in a small town named cuxhaven by the sea. The dad(42) of the family works as a manager with a committed job. He also does university courses online and endures long work hours. The mom(44) in the house works 2 days per week and also does university courses online as well as other projects. We have 4 kids but dont panick, our oldest(19) lives in Iceland with his grandparents and girlfriend while he finishes school. Our second oldest(13) is a girl who attends school and is learning the basiscs of life. She would love some assistance with homework as she struggles with language for the homework at times. She is a shy but a very cleaver girl. Our third(8) girl is the Boss baby in the house and somehow manages to make everything evolve around her. She is a funny character. She would love to be picked up from school and have some help with homework and also some fun activities at home. Our youngest(7) is a mamas boy, very sweet and can easily melt everyone. Ohh lets not forget to mention our “small” german shepherd Derrick. We are seeking assistance with our busy household and hopefully have someone who is a part of our family. We love to travel and try to when oppurtunities allow to travel around europe. We look forward to hear from you and tell you more about us and learn more about you. We have orevious experiences with aupair. We had 3 different aupairs for our kids when we lived in Iceland and each one of them became a part of our growing family. This time things are different. The kids are older but and we love in a forwign country. If you are interested in coming to be a part our family be aware that we have houshold chores as an important part of the agreement. In return we promiss you a life experience and we make sure you are welcomed.

The role would envolve assisting with getting the kids ready for and to school wich is few minutes away. Then to attend the household chores(cleaning, puting things in the correct place, laundry, beds, vacuem and moping and make sure the kitchen is in order. Bathroom cleaning etcdr.) our kids can easily make the house a mess in few minutes. Kids usually finish school around 1300 and the two younger would need to be picked up. It is possible to go by bike(10) minutes or by car or even by foot. Derrick our dog would also like to be walked(we take turns on taking him) During the afternoon some assistance with the kids and their homework and activites would be welcomed or some erands(groceries or other). Kids also have some after school activities on some days. And we would love to have you cook for us some nice meals during week days. We are of course there as well and we try always to help each other out as a family.
