Hi, there, my name is Li Dan, or in English my name is Jocelyn, I am 35 years old and live in Cheng Du,China. I am a teacher and I have got my masters degree in the UK . My husband is a sales engineer together we have a small baby who is 2.10 years old now, we are looking for a native English speaker to come and create an English speaking envioriment for him.There is no need for you to do any chores in the house or to take care of my baby, my family and I will share this task. Your role will be to play games, talk and read books to him, urging him to speak and engage in activities with you.

As a travel enthusiast myself I understand your desire to travel and explore, don't worry when joining my family you will have plenty of time to do so by yourself or if you'd like to there is plenty of opportunity to join my family and I on our travels whether that be to new cities or to amazing mountain towns you are welcome to join us of course.

My husband and I are open minded and easy going, we are eager to make friends from different countries and know more about other cultures, we can't wait to meet you and become friends with you . We will treat you as one of our family members and take you to wonderful places and feed you delicous food, also when joining my family we can help you learn the Chinese language and introduce our culture to you . We understand how challenging this can be for you as we have previous experience with 2 aupairs and understand how different this all may feel to you ,we can only reassure you that we will do everything we can to make you feel at home and of course we will be here to welcome you into our family. Description of family members
I am open minded , I have studied in UK for 1 year, and traveled to different countries, I understand and respect the differences between cultures, if there's anything you feel unconfortable with or anything i can do to help when you come to our family, please let us know, we will do as much as we can to make you feel comfortable.

My baby is a very friendly and sweet child, I believe his curiosity will help him in learning from you, he loves being outside and playing with his favorite toy bunny rabbit, which i'm sure he would love to share with you.

My household consists of 4 people which includes my mom, my husband,my baby and I. My mother is a more reserved personality but I ensure you she is very kind and hard working,as she takes care of my family and cooks every meal at home for us. You may find it a little difficult to communicate with my mom as she speaks no English, however she will also treat you no different to the rest of the family.

There are multiple opportunities for you to experience life in the Chinese countryside when we return to my hometown, this is where you will meet the rest of my family. I have no doubts that you will get along with everyone just fine.

Your role includes; playing games, reading books, conversations, daily descriptive communications, daily interactions and so on. we would love to know what you believe to be the most efficient way of teaching my baby English and see how effective it can be.

In terms of schedule its difficult to state a strict timetable as no two days look the same for us. when we are at home ideally you would spend 3 hours in the morning with my baby from 9-12 and 3 hours in the afternoon after his nap from 3-6. it is up to you how you want to spend your free time each day and of course your days off , which are Saturday and Sunday.

As said previously I am a teacher and depending on your interests I would love to invite you to come to my classroom and interact with my students if that's something you would like to do (they are very cute kids aged 5-12).
