Family's Introduction to Au Pair
Job Description
Hello,
We are a family living in East Vancouver, looking for an au pair for our two children, 5 and 7 year old. We are looking for a long term help on workdays that includes:
– looking after the children
– cooking one large meal a day for a family
– light housekeeping (roughly 30 min a day)
Regular School season: Mon-Fri, 8:30–9am and 3:30–6pm, once in a while there are no school days or sick days, when we will need you to mind them 9am–5:30pm (4 days a month)
You will have your private room, all bills and meals included.
We offer CAD$400 pocket money a month.
However, there are times when we need more hours and they will be paid at a rate of CAD$16.75.
March 16-31: we ask for two workday weeks 9am–5:30pm (+5 hours a day for 10 days = 50 extra hours*16.75 = CA$837,5)
July and August: All work days during summer holidays, 9am–5:30pm (+5 hours a day for ~45 days = 225 extra hours = CA$3768,75 (incl. July and August))
Location: close to Nanaimo skytrain station and Trout Lake park.
