We are a dynamic and happy family of 3 since our daughter Valentine was born in September last year. In addition, we have a dog Napoleon and a cat Ayla who each have their unique personality and tend to be great fun. During the week (except for Wednesday) Valentine goes to day-care. In the week-ends we tend to spend as much time as possible with her.

We chose to raise Valentine bilingually so Jan tends to speak Dutch, whereas I speak French and together as a family we speak Dutch.

As for our professional life, I have a Law degree and work as HR Manager for a global investment holding with a strong focus on labour, fiscal and social security aspects next to overall HR management. Within the scope of my job I travel each two weeks for 3 days to Luxembourg. My husband Jan has a solid expertise in individual life insurance products, hospitalisation & disability for independant workers with Allianz. Over the past few years he evolved from a managerial role into strategic expertise. He tends to travel to Allianz’ offices in Brussels twice a week next to broker visits across the flemish region.

7.15am drive to day-care
=> the au-pair will be asked to pick her up according to instructions.

16pm pick-up from day-care (if the au-pair has a driving licence she will be asked to pick her up).

16.30pm last bottle & end-day routine

17.30pm bed-time

21h last bottle milk ==> for the au-pair to give
