We are a family of 4 (mum dad, Mr 12, Miss 9) looking for our next amazing au-pair to join our family. We are a happy, loving family who are a lot of fun to live with, and have hosted many au-pairs over the years.
Adelaide is a lovely city to visit, with beautiful beaches, wineries and festivals to explore. We have a large property, with plenty of space, close to the city. February/ March is the perfect time to visit due to the Adelaide Fringe, music festivals and other events.
We have a large house, with several pets. So looking for someone who likes animals, is reliable, flexible, fun and laid- back and genuinely likes children.

We need an au-pair 35 hours a week (sometimes hours may be less or slightly more). Working days are typically Monday to Friday.
We need help before and after school. In the morning our au pair helps to get the kids ready for school and then drops them off.
After school duties include school pickup, helping with homework and taking the children to any after-school activities. If there are no activities on, then you can play games at home, or go to a park etc. You will often need to help prepare dinner for the children and may need to assist with bedtime. You need to be prepared to help with routines, making sure the kids have a shower, complete their chores etc.
We expect our au-pairs to be actively involved with the kids when on shift. Hours will be scheduled differently in the school holidays. Other duties include kids laundry, helping the kids to keep their rooms and playroom tidy. Some additional light-housekeeping e.g vacuuming, tidying lounge/kitchen is expected if the kids are occupied. We expect our au-pair to have a flexible approach to duties as required, but no major cleaning will be involved.
You need to be a confident, safe driver for this role. We are happy to help you drive on the left-side of the road, but you must otherwise have a good driving history.
In return, we offer generous pay $$ for both hours worked and your flexibility. Pay will increase for longer stays. All meals are provided. There is also the added bonus of unlimited super-fast Wi-Fi internet, a selection of streaming services and personal use of the au-pair car.
Our Au-pair has their own room, which includes an attached lounge-area. The lounge area includes couch and TV, with a Queen bed and plenty of storage in the bedroom area.
