Hello, my name is Kimberly. I am a 34 year old stay at home mom. My husband, who goes by Leon, works from home cultivating our landscape and growing and selling edible trees and shrubs. My daughter Jasmine is an an incredibly smart, fun loving four year old who loves to read, draw and dance. My two year old Lucy is so silly and is always trying to make people laugh. We are seeking an au pair as the demands of parenthood have been extremely difficult for my family. I am in the process of healing from a thyroid condition which has had a big impact on my ability to parent full- time.
We would love to host someone who loves nature, enjoys engaging with kids, and can appreciate a farming/homesteading lifestyle.

My husband and I are seeking a live-in au pair to help us care for our four year old daughter Jasmine and our two year old daughter Lucy. The duties would include engaging with them with games and activities during the day, driving jasmine to and from preschool, helping with naps and bath time. We would expect light housework, like sweeping, vacuuming and doing the dishes. We live in a rural city on the Olympic Peninsula, which is surrounded by mountains and the sea. There are plenty of outdoor activities to do such as hiking, biking, surfing and fishing. We live on a 6 acre property that we have cultivated as a small farm and edible landscape. We value an organic and non-toxic living style. Our home is made of straw bales and cob and is a beautiful space to reside in. The property has plenty of opportunity to garden, if that is something you would be interested in. My husband and I used to be professional chefs, so you would eat well here.
Both Leon and I have experience working and living abroad. I worked in France several years back and was able to learn the language while I was there. My husband was born in Luxembourg and spend his first 10 years of life in Europe. He also worked and lived in France in the past.
