Location: Manor, TX (about 10 mins from Austin and 20 mins from downtown Austin).

We are a family of Five ( Twins 5 years old boys, 7 year old boy) looking for an Experienced Au pair to join us in December 2023 or early January 2024. This will be our Sixth Au Pair. Our lovely au pair second year will finalize in January.
We are soo soo sad to see her go, but excited to continue this adventure with someone new!

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending their days with children and treats the role as a big sister/family member rather than a job. We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail, flexible, pleasant/happy, trustworthy, honest, mature, patient, understanding and kind.

Minimal qualifications:
Our current wonderful au pair is Mexican so we would love to have another au pair to join our family that speaks Spanish or Portuguese, but again the personality and fit is key
Must love kids!
Experience caring for multiple children 5 yo and older simultaneously
First Aid/CPR training
Updated flu shot
Non-smoker
A strong driver with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
At least 25 yo
We are a very tidy/clean and organized family so hope to have someone join us with the same style
Strong English not required we have helped our au pairs
Excellent attention to detail
Proactive
Patient, loving and able to successfully support positive redirection and keep it cool during stressful situations!
25 or older

Independent. teaching background preferable. One of our children has signs of attention deficit but has not been diagnosed. We need someone with lots of patience but also with firm demenor.

Strong driver is a must

Enjoy cooking / comfortable with meal prep. (Nutritional kids meal’s a HUGE plus)

Organized and tidy. Kids stuff only.

Excellent communicator Spanish or Portuguese, Chinese (Our family has a lot of moving parts, we want you to be comfortable communicating your needs and discussing any conflicts.)

About us!


Us: we are a laid-back, loving, professional couple. Mom is in technology working from home (but still stay out of your way and of course available if you need anything). Dad is in tech and works from home part-time. We are first generation Venezuelan-Italian and speak 3 different languages. Our family hobbies include traveling, trying new cuisine, doing anything outdoors including hiking, beach visits, walks, parks etc., exploring different States in our RV. We have always treated our past caregivers like family and with the utmost love and hope the same with you. You are always welcome to join us for meals, activities, trips, but we also respect your privacy and independence. We are happy to provide references of past caregivers and our current au pair. We love learning about new cultures, languages and visiting different places in the world and are excited to learn about you! Mommy works from home working full time and travels occasionally. Father works from home and travels to Asia occasionally.

We have 3 kids requiring care:

5 year old twin boys (they love bike, scooters, hot wheels, sharks, dinosaurs, and outdoors)

7 year old sweet boy who was recently adopted. (loves rainbows, reading books, playing outside and with his brothers) No screen time so a strong driver is needed for extracurricular activities

Schedule

5 days a week 6am-7:30am Morning person desired (Mondays - Fridays) during school days 2:00pm -8:30 pm
Summer time: 7:00 am -4:00 pm
Required 45 hours during the week only. More than 2 weeks Vacation if needed.


Unless they are sick or traveling in our Camper, variable times during the summer while we travel
Your home away from home for a month. Our previous au Pair traveled to 7 different States with us while working. If you love to travel we might be a great match!

Our Home: we live in a beautiful neighborhood with access to a gym, hiking trail, park and seasonal pool. You will have your own bedroom. All main necessities (grocery, gym bank) are about a 15 minute drive. You will have unlimited data cell phone plan, unlimited streaming
