Greetings from sunny Southern California! We are a bilingual (English/ Spanish) family of 3 hoping to find a patient and kind aupair who is seeking a 3-6 month placement which requires working around 30 hours per week during the summer months. We are located in a wonderful neighborhood on the border of Los Angeles and Orange Counties and have a large bedroom available, so it’s a great place for someone to make the most of their summer.

Our 4 year old loves playing musical instruments and playing outside, so we’d love to find someone who enjoys similar activities. He is super intelligent and is reading/ writing at a kindergarten level. However, he does have an expressive speech delay which causes him frustration at time because he cannot always communicate his needs easily. We have speech therapy and behavioral services in place throughout the week, which we would need our aupair to be present for while we work. It is essential to our family that our aupair be gentle, has a solid understanding of early childhood development, and be willing to utilize the strategies his therapies are teaching, yet be willing to be silly and fun, too, since he is only 4 after all!

Our family is really fun loving and often goes for adventurous activities, such as theme parks, beaches, and sporting events, during the weekends. You will be welcome to join us, if you’d like. We have a large dog and an older cat, both of which live indoors so we need someone who is pet friendly. We are a non smoking/ non vaping household and request the same of you.
