Kids:

-This is fun but it is work. It does include going to the zoo, amusement park, church, mall, science center, park, dinner etc but we are there for them not the other way around. It is not a situation where you are just taking care of your business (doing homework, personal grooming, washing car) and they are hanging with you. They are your focus from Sunday to Wednesday
morning and every other Saturday evening.

-Working with school programs to reinforce weekly
lessons to kids is key. Learning and playing right is second only
to safety and happiness.

-Safety and awareness of potential problems is an
essential characteristic. Anticipating issues like leaving
objects on the ground like scissors or “permanent
markers” around for them to do what kids do. Keeping
windows/doors/etc. secured, knowing where the kids
are in a store, at the park, etc is essential to keeping
them out of harms way.

-Mental stimulus is essential to keep their minds active
and growing. Creative play, motor skills, crafts,
reading, writing, arithmetic, plus a lot of outdoor fun!

Personal Assistant:

-Home Mgmt. You will help me keep the operations of my home (and the home I am building) flowing. Shopping, contractor mgmt, activity planning, event coordination and a variety of other activities that keep us going on the home front.

-Business. Essentially the same thing as above but centered on my business schedule. Plus you will learn essentials of running a business (I actually have three) as you work hand in hand with me several days a week.

Purpose: After school/weekend assistance, mentoring & care. Additional hours as my personal assistant.

Work Hours:

Need you every weekday and a few scheduled weekends. Schedule changes from school year to summer based on start date.

Caring and common sense are essential characteristics for this individual. You must be organized and clean.

Core Responsibilities: Kids: After school activities (while in school), homework (even in summer), activity management, then its dinner/bath/books/bedtime on days you have kids. Other days it is helping with general personal assistance duties.

Anticipating issues with kids (knowing where the kids are at home, in a store, at the park, etc is essential to keeping them out of harms way); balancing miscellaneous priorities for personal assistance on kids days versus without kids critical. Can't let priorities drop.

In the summer, helping with home school work and engaging them in planned knowledge based and socially enhancing activities/sports (karate, swimming).

Will involve some travel (California beaches, Alaska to a business venture) and work week hours can run over (for which you will be compensated.
