Greetings! We are an energetic family of six, situated in Bowie, MD, just 30 minutes from Washington D.C. Our lively household includes twin 9-year-old boys, a 6-year-old girl, and a 7-year-old girl. The twins, who have high-functioning autism, are not only wonderfully verbal and potty trained but also skilled advocates for themselves. All our children share a vibrant imagination and are full of boundless energy. Both my partner and I hold full-time jobs.
As we embark on the search for an au pair to join our family, we are seeking someone capable of providing essential support. Your role will encompass assisting with the children's needs, ensuring safe play, aiding with homework, and effectively managing behavioral challenges using appropriate techniques like redirection.
