Our family comprises me (Melissa), my husband Matthew (Matt), and our three wonderful children: Mendel (5 years old), Amanda (Mandy, 3 years old), and little Leah (18 months). Matt is a passionate professor at a local university and I am a research scientist at a local company.
Family Life:
Our days are bustling with energy and excitement! You'll find us engaged in various activities, from park soccer matches to impromptu dance sessions and even occasional science experiments. We cherish family time, often involving outdoor adventures, sports like hockey and volleyball, and frequent visits to the park.
Kids' Preferences:
Mendel is sociable and caring. He makes new friends everywhere we go and he loves soccer and reading stories. Mandy is shyer than her brother but intelligent and determined. She adores dancing, cooking, and dress-up. Leah is cuddly and social, she loves giving hugs and kisses and follows her siblings everywhere. All three kids love music, sports, and nature, but as with any kids, they have their unique dislikes – mealtime can be a challenge!
Household Dynamics:
Our household rules prioritize kindness, respect, and responsibility. We encourage the kids to tidy up after playtime and help set the table. While bedtime can be chaotic, the younger one usually winds down by 8:00 p.m., and Mendel and Mandy enjoy reading before lights out at 9:00 p.m.
Expectations:
We're seeking someone warm-hearted, patient, and energetic who can care for Leah during the workday and with Mendel and Mandy when they are not in school. We’d like someone to assist with after-school pickups, engage the kids in activities, and help with meal prep and tidying. Occasional assistance with our dog is appreciated.
We view our au pair as an extension of our family, providing cultural exchange and support while you enjoy being a part of our adventures. We frequently travel around the US to visit family, especially in the summer when Las Vegas is very hot, and we would gladly include you in our travel plans.

The primary responsibilities include full-time care for our 18-month-old daughter and part-time care for our 3-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son. Duties encompass after-school pickup, engaging in age-appropriate activities, light meal preparation, and housekeeping related to the children.
Responsibilities:
Provide full-time care for the 18-month-old girl and part-time care for the 3 and 5-year-olds.
Engage children in stimulating activities, aiding their growth and development.
Assist with after-school pickups and supervise during extracurricular activities.
Light meal preparation for the children and some assistance with the dog.
Maintain cleanliness in areas used by the children; tidy play areas and assist with children's laundry.
