We are a multinational family (Austrian/Italian/American) with only one 4 old child, Lucia. She is sweet and not difficult. She goes to kindergarten until 4pm. She speaks mostly German some Italian and some English. As all children, she loves stories, playing, dancing. She loves listening to music (she is also taking sone introductory music classes) and “reading books” (well somebody needs to read them for her).
Manuela, her mother, is a musician, has a PhD, but has decided for a change of career and following a very old interest for Chinese culture, philosophy, martial arts, she is finishing a very demanding school of Chinese Medicine.
Federico, Lucia’s father, was born in Italy. He is also a musician who has several jobs, including teaching at the university. He has been living in the USA for almost thirty years. He has traveled a lot, largely for work, but also for pleasure.
We have a busy schedule and we don’t have much of a social life, but we have here in Boston several friends we try to see whenever we can. We go often to Europe where we have still many friends and family members.
We live in a house that is close to Boston, is fairly large and comfortable and has a nice garden.
We would love to have an AuPair who can spend time with Lucia, read her stories, play with her. We would treat her as a family member.

Our daughter comes back from preschool after 4pm. We would need somebody to play with her and speak Italian with her between 4:30pm and 7:30pm. An extra hour after dinner later in the evening (8:30 to 9:30) and or at breakfast time (7am to 8am) may be occasionally needed and arranged.
Saturday morning 9am to 12pm
No household duties (cleaning/cooking/shopping) required.
