Dear Family
My name is Antonette and I am from the beautiful nation of Zimbabwe which is South of Africa. I am an amazing personality, a humble person and a very friendly soul. I have amazing love and passion and care for children and young adults. My motto is 'Every child is my child '.I have been taking care of children out of Love and for fun and now i am looking forward to this next step, becoming an Au pair.
I currently reside in Harare Zimbabwe which is the Capital of Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe is a beautiful country Southern of Africa which is popularly known for the majestic Victoria falls. I come from a family of 8. I have four brothers and three sisters. We are such a big united family that has so much love for each other. My native language is Shona but I also happen to have basic knowledge in Isindebele. I am fluent in English as a result of almost every day use. English has been the language of instruction ever since my Primary school. I recently completed my undergraduate studies and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English and Communication and my major was in editing. I am so excited about becoming an au pair for the first time and in the United States of America. I am so elated and excited to meet a family full of love and energy. I really cannot wait to have children under my care in a foreign nation.

The U.S and other Western nations offers an undoubtedly different cultural context from mine. I am so elated about meeting you. It is going to be a great opportunity to learn as well as reflect on my future. I look forward to pursuing a master’s degree in strategic communication and I am still weighing my options. In the long run, I look forward to starting an orphanage. I expect to advance my child care experience at the same time experiencing family life. My child care experience is diverse ranging from infants to young children. I have voluntary experience from the Inner city Mission an organization which handles the welfare of Children from underprivileged backgrounds. I am passionate about working with young children helping in projects that help send them back to school. I have baby-sitting experience for 0 to 6 year olds. My experience happen to be both formal and informal. I also have child care experience from relative’s children, at home, always, i am hands on, always taking care of my nephews and nieces almost on a daily basis.
I believe I am able to organize and facilitate recreational indoor, outdoor activities and I am very spontaneous when it comes to child care. I would appreciate a very kind and loving family who will thrill my sense of humor and appreciate my uniqueness. I genuinely love children and I believe we will create a bond.
I take pleasure in the simplest things life has to offer and family is valuable to me more than anything else.
