Dear Host Family,
I am already very excited about getting to know you. But first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
My name is Obwille. I am 24 years old and from the small city of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. I live with my mother (64), sister (30) and my nephew (10). I'm a recent graduate holding a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics.
I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends; they are – as well as my family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me
During my spare time, I love to dance, read, work out and play with children. During the last three summer holidays, I have been volunteering at local childcare centers and was assigned to take care of the youngest group of children. In between child minding, I was responsible for entertaining the children and we had lots of fun playing hide and seek, doing face paintings, coloring ins and many more games.
At the moment, I work as a secondary school teacher, focusing on economics and accounting classes. I enjoy this job very much, because I can bond with many of my students. Two years ago, I did an apprenticeship as a bank clerk in one of the largest banks in Zimbabwe. Before the apprenticeship I completed my secondary school.
I am excited about the prospect of joining you and sharing my experiences with your wonderful kids. I look forward to sharing more information about myself in recommended forms of communication by this program.
