I am an award winning childcare professional and my professional experience is grounded in the early years sector, where I spent three years as an Early Years Educator, followed by over a year of private ad hoc nanny work for families across the city. I hold Distinctions in both my NCFE Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare & Education Diplomas and my practice has been recognised through two professional awards: the Teach Portsmouth Early Years & Childcare Award and the Inspiration of the Year award from Showcase Training.

I have extensive experience as an Early Years Educator for children from birth to 8 years, supporting developmental milestones, sleep routines, weaning, toilet training and EYFS-rooted learning. I have led SEN support as the primary practitioner for children with additional needs, co-ordinating with specialists to create and review individual care plans and I am experienced in managing life-threatening dietary requirements. I also hold a current Paediatric First Aid certification as well as a British passport.

My private nanny work grew organically from the relationships I built at the nursery - several families sought me out because of the bond I had formed with their children. This sole-charge experience of caring for children both within and outside of the early years age ranges has sharpened my ability to work independently and flexibly, adapting to each child’s temperament and developmental stage. I communicate proactively with parents after every session and take pride in being a calm, consistent and trustworthy presence for both children and families.

I enjoy being active and love improving myself; I always aim to go the gym, read books, love badminton and am (trying!) to teach myself software development.
