Introduction
I haven't been an au pair previously but worked at an after-school club in my local area. I also have tutored ~5 kids a week on average over the past 3 years where I have enjoyed getting to know the kids individually and really tailor my teaching to their needs.
I grew up in London and went to university in Manchester, so definitely thrive in cities. I enjoy throwing myself into new environments and meeting lots of people, having worked festival seasons and travelled solo before. I think this would be a great way to combine that passion with work, and really immerse myself into the city.
While my degree is STEM, I love having a creative outlet so crafts/galleries is right up my alley. I listen to music of all kinds but have a soft spot for dance music, would love to put the kids onto some good tunes! I am currently considering various options after the au pair experience, but will probably be applying to further education/medicine/scientist training programmes on offer in the UK as well as grad jobs.
