I live in Catford with my mum, brother, Nan, Grandad and my two pets which I adore, having said that, my cat is rather evil, so the adoration is mainly for my Cavapoo. From a very young age, I always loved babies and young children. When we'd visit my mum's friends' houses I'd automatically end up looking, after all, their children and the same thing happened when we were on holiday. My mum says I'm like a magnet to children. So, it was only natural that I ended up wanting a career in childcare. My plan was to become a child psychologist but this is a big step so I'm just taking some time to be totally sure that this is the path I want to go down. During my gap year, I worked in turkey in the animation team in the kids club, yet again I was entertaining the children and their parents, it was a fantastic experience and enhanced my knowledge in terms of childcare. Right now, I am enjoying working in an after-school club in Beckenham and I have just started my open university degree studying primary education. I feel like life is an adventure and although it doesn't always run smoothly, we have choices to learn and grow.
I love working with children because I love how every day is different and the fact that my involvement can help shape a little one's life. I've had young children in my life since my first memories - I enjoy their inquisitive minds and willingness to have fun and explore new challenges.
