Hiya! :)

My name is Sahara, I'm 19 years old (turning 20 in November!) and from England. I have 3 years worth of childcare experience! Since September 2024, I have been working as a teaching assistant in a SEN school. Before that, I worked in a nursery, which included caring for children from ages 3 months through to 8 years. I am paediatric first aid qualified and have a valid safeguarding certificate.

I've been dreaming about becoming a live-in nanny for some time now! I'd love to be able to travel someplace exciting (which is anywhere to me!) and experience new things. My life is so positively impacted by meeting people and making connections and this is something that draws me to being a live-in nanny abroad. Every child I've ever worked with has taught me something new about the world by just being themselves, and have given me many new perspectives to greet the next day with. Working with children has been the best part of my life thus far; I love knowing that I'm dedicating my time to positively impacting someone's life, especially during their most valuable years.

I've also had a fairly strict and unfulfilling upbringing and would love to fully break free from these restrictions, and find a host family who are keen to uplift and encourage me at this time in my life. :)

I would describe myself as being incredibly empathetic, I have endless patience and can always find a positive side to any situation! I'm very easy-going and I just love being able to help out and go the extra mile for all those around me. I love gardening, baking, painting, reading, writing, music, walking in nature, animals, and anything arts and crafty!
