Hi, my name is Michael, I am from Scotland and looking for a temporary summer job. Currently I am employed as an employment advisor for Remploy, helping people get back into sustainable employment. Since I am being made redundant due to the government contract coming to an end, I am looking at working in Portugal for a short summer term. My main experience is in customer service and office/admin based roles with some hospitality experience. I enjoy meeting new people and looking forward to travel. I am looking into any type of work in the albufeira area from around May 2024

I have never worked outside of Scotland before and neither has any of my family. I would be travelling with my girlfriend who has already secured herself a full time job. I can provide excellent personal and work references when requested. First aid trained and mental health first aid trained with and IEP certificate. Having support people from all backgrounds in numerous roles I feel I can adapt myself well to new situations well. I am happy to do any physical or outdoor work as well. I am always looking to see where I can help out more and eager to learn and develop where I can.
