My name is Lucky. I am 24 years old and I currently live in Uganda. I was born and raised in Kampala which is actually the capital city of my country. I am a passionate individual, respectful, responsible, reliable, hardworking, trustworthy, organized and have a high desire to learn new things. I value love, respect and trust when it comes to all aspects of my life and i always hope it is reciprocated. I keep my family close to me because they have helped me through life and i love that our bond always grows stronger. I graduated my Bachelors degree in Business Administration in May 2022 at Makerere University which is the best university in Uganda. I did specialize in International Business where we got to learn a little about the German and French culture as they were some of my selectives. This is where my interest escalated on wanting to experience what life is like abroad. Currently i am an Artist doing handcasting for babies, kids, couples and families. Here i am able to engage with many families while i help them preserve their special memories through my work. They are always amazed. When it comes to children, i have always had to take care of a few when growing up, younger siblings and especially cousins. Currently i take care of my little cousins Keithan and Clarissa who we actually like to call "Lala". From helping them with homework, preparing for them meals and basically spending time with them. On the weekends when i visit my cousins, i love to take care of baby Azaria since she was a newborn. She is making 8 months in a few days and she brings a whole different experience on children. I just love children and generally i my family its the same. All i desire is a great,warm, cozy, strong and friendly relationship with my host family. I hope to take great care of the kids and also learn from each other as we go on. We can all take good care of each other. I also wish to continue with my language course during my stay because it is something i appreciate a lot. I try my best to be reasonable and i hope you can be the same for me during our time together. My entire growth journey has greatly involved taking care of kids and making sure they are greatly loved. There is nothing I would love more than making the best out of being your additional family member. My biggest desire is to fully immerse myself into the new culture while creating strong and great relationships with my host family. I also want to challenge myself with new responsibilities especially in new country altogether. I would also love to experience life abroad. I would also love to gain new skills that i would bring back home after my au pair stay. I want to become a better person for myself and everyone around me and i know this journey is going to contribute the most. I was raised in a town within called Kira where i currently reside with my family. Uganda is one of the smaller countries in East Africa with a strong culture, beautiful and friendly people, mind blowing sceneries and loads of yummy food. It is actually called The Pearl of Africa.
Ms. Beatrice and the Late Yusuf are my parents. Ich habe drei Schwestern. Mary (older sister) who is sadly deaf and dumb, Bettinah (older sister) and Claire (younger sister). I am also currently staying with my younger cousins Clarissa (6) and Keithan (9). Me and my sisters have taken care of they since they were 1 and 4 and its one of our proudest moments. They are our little rays of sunshine. I also like to hang out with my other cousins Abba, Akilah, Aidan and baby Azaria over the weekend. Its like a family tradition because it keeps us super close. I hope i can become part of your family soon too.
