Dear future fam,
I am really happy to extend my availability to you as I embark on a new and exciting adventure to take time off of my career as I try to figure out my next step hopefully finding a way to fund my masters degree abroad.
I am from a beautiful island in the Caribbean called Trinidad and Tobago and I have been a paid babysitter since I was 17yrs old and did this part time during my university years. My last stint of paid work was where I cared for a lovely 1 and 1/2 yr old baby girl 5 days a week, all day. I fed her, played games, gave her a bath, took her for walks outside, read, sang and taught her the alphabet and also put her down for nap time on schedule each day. Her parents truly loved me and said I have a gift with children.
After I got my job as a lawyer I had to stop doing paid jobs due to my unavailability however as I come from a large family with babies being born almost each year, I have virtually never stopped babysitting as I continue to do part time babysitting for friends and family to date. I have also managed the households of persons I worked with as well as my own keeping things very clean and doing errands and groceries to keep things running smoothly.
As I am now deciding to leave my job to decide on what’s next for me, I am looking for a paid opportunity with a family or individual where I am able to use my free time for much needed mind space and travel / adventure. I love the nature and outdoors,I am amazing with children and babies and love being around them and I am very easy going and friendly. I also love eating healthy and finding a good routine that supports a healthy active lifestyle such as doing yoga and going on walks daily. My ideal family would be pleasant and easy going preferably trustworthy, kind, generous and fun/adventurous people. I am a very responsible, trustworthy and caring individual who loves adventure and good intellectual conversations.
I am also capable as an PA, absolutely love planning events/outings/ birthday parties or any type of celebration and have also worked as an event planner/manager/decorator in the past. I am great at administrative tasks, keeping an orderly and clean household and being organized in general, I am also good with pets, love dogs.
