Letter to the family
Hi there! I am Adrienne and I'm a 23-year-old student from the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago. I want to be an au pair because I think it is a great way to expand my horizons, experience new places and meet new people. I am polite, respectful, open to new things, and trustworthy. During the Summer of 2022, I was au pair to a wonderful family in Burgos, Spain. It was one of the highlights of my life and I would love to have an experience like that again. I have experience working with teenage boys from a group home teaching them a subject that they hated...mathematics. I would always find a way to relate to them and by the end of my time there they improved and became a little more agreeable. I always say that if I could do that, I could do anything. I was a professional dancer a couple of years ago but I still love the art form and would catch myself doing random dance moves from time to time. I am good with children; I am attentive and able to keep them occupied for long periods. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty, play outside and explore with them if that is what they want. Most of all I understand that my job as an au pair is to make your life easier, so I am willing to help you to the best of my abilities. I love to dance and share my culture so I hope that I can share my Caribbean culture with you and your kids. I look forward to meeting you soon!
