Dear Host Family,

My name is Marissa, but you can call me Maryse. I am a 26-year-old woman from Thailand, and I’m excited to introduce myself as a potential Au Pair for your family.

I come from a loving and supportive family and have always enjoyed being around children. I grew up helping to take care of my younger siblings and cousins, which sparked my natural love for caregiving and being a positive role model. In school, I also participated in volunteer work through vocational programs, where I had the opportunity to be a babysitter at a local kindergarten. We did various fun and educational activities such as singing, storytelling, arts and crafts, and simple learning games. These experiences taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and how to connect with children in a meaningful way.

I graduated with a degree in Business English from Tongren University in Guizhou, China. I am fluent in Thai and can communicate in both English and Chinese at a conversational level. I’m currently continuing to improve my English every day because I believe strong communication is key to building good relationships — not just with the children, but also with the whole family. I love cultural exchange and believe that working as an Au Pair is an incredible opportunity to learn about different lifestyles, traditions, and values, while also sharing mine.

As a person, I would describe myself as responsible, open-minded, calm, and caring. I take initiative, follow routines well, and understand how important it is to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children. I’m happy to help with daily tasks such as preparing meals, helping with homework, tidying up, and getting the kids ready for school or activities. I’m also comfortable helping with light household chores if needed.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, drawing, listening to music, learning languages, and exploring new places. I’d love to share some Thai culture with your family through food, crafts, or even language — and at the same time, I’m very eager to learn more about your traditions and way of life.

I am very excited about the possibility of joining your family as an Au Pair. I believe that living and working together creates a strong bond, and I hope to be someone your children can feel safe, happy, and inspired around. I look forward to the chance to not only take care of your children but also grow and learn together as part of your family.
