Dear Future Host Family,
My name is Aninya, I am 22 years old from Thailand. I am a recent graduated. I graduated Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Chiang Mai University. During my time in high school and university, I used to do many projects with children and funding from international organizations, NGOs and Thailand’s government, for example I did funny activities for kids and students in high school including poor children in northern of Thailand.
I am friendly and easy-going. I am generous and love taking care of people. I consider myself as a hard - working person. I love to dedicate my time to do volunteer works and to join new social projects with community. In my free time, I love reading and drawing. (I joined a lot of drawing contest when I studied in high school) I also love to swim, I condor myself as a strong swimmer.
Regarding my childcare experience, I have been taking care of my two nephews. I really enjoy taking care of them. Taking care of them makes me feel motivated and to take part in volunteer work to help poor children.
I used to be a part-time teacher at the childcare development center, it is a government childcare center. My responsibilities were leading children to do activities indoor and outdoor, teaching them to draw and paint. There were Thai children, American children, Polish children and Korean children. I loved taking care of them, I learned a lot how to handle children from different background. I also worked at Kiddee Nursery in Chiang Mai., I gained a lot of knowledge about how to create activities for children.
Moreover, I used to work as a mother’s help to care for a boy, I helped bathing, putting him to bed and changing diapers. In 2022, I’ve been watching 3 years old boy in DFW. I’ve learned many things and I enjoyed staying with the family. The kid likes my brother and i like his sister. Also I’ve been many states for example, NYC, Boston,Chicago, LA, OKC and Louisiana. I also checked out many cities in Texas but it’s not enough for me for 1 year experience. I’d like to stay with American family and take care of the kids. I hope another year experience, I will be a part of family and enjoy holidays and activities with host family. I’d like some support as good environment for me to practice my English skills and read books when I have my free time.
