Dear host family, thank you for taking an interest in my profile! My name is Shaandi and I am 23 years old. I was born and raised in England , and currently live in the north of England. I have 5 sisters (2 are younger, 3 are older) so I completely understand what its like to be in a busy, close-knit family and to look after others! For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed helping people as much as possible. Currently, I partake in an education volunteer work on a regular basis alongside my part time job. I am even attempting to learn the Mandarin Chinese language as part of my volunteer work! I love to teach and try to take up the opportunity to do so if available. Some additional examples include working as a classroom assistant in a primary school and tutoring maths to an 11 year old girl online. I have a deep passion for learning and being creative; and therefore love to draw, paint, sew and play the piano. I have visited many countries in Europe and value the variety and beauty of cultures. I decided to become an au pair to look after children, teach them new skills, help them to develop into their own characters and to advance their knowledge of the English language from a native speaker. For myself, I’d love the opportunity to grow from the experience living in a foreign country!
