Dear Family,
My name is Tuva and I am excited about the opportunity to become an au pair and be a part of a host family abroad. I see the experience as a way for me to be able to support your family in you everyday-life while learning about your culture, language and lifestyle.
I have extensive experience with working with children of differemt ages. For the past year or so, I have worked as a babysitter or nanny for two different families where I have been fully responsible for the children of my own. My tasks have been preparing meals, organizing activities which have been age appropriate, i have helped with daily routines, housework, and i have spent quality time playing, learning and creating a fun and safe environment for the children, the family and myself.
I have also work as a substitue teacher in a preschool for over a year, a couple of times a month. In addition the oast four months i have been working as a full-time chlildcare assistant in a preschool. In this position i have independently taken care of up to five children between the ages of 4-6 years old at the same time. As well as worked in teams with other teachers to take care of over 40 children between the ages of >1-6 years old. The experience i am taking from this position is to be calm, responeble, flexible and attentive to each of the childrens needs.
I describe myself as a loyal, reliable and caring person. I takey responsibilites seriously and always strive to do my best while also enjoying the experience. Alongside my work with children i have had a part-time job for over 3 years which has strengthened my time manegement and shows my commitment to my workplace.
I genuinly enjoy spending time with children and supporting them in the development through play, kindness, creativity and daily routines. I am happy to help with childcare, light household tasks related to the children and i will strive to be an active and respectful part of your family’s everyday life.
