I have several years of hands-on childcare experience and was a paid au pair for my aunt for three years, caring for her children from when the youngest was just 3 months old and the oldest was 7 years old. Through this experience, I learned how to handle different age groups, routines, and responsibilities with patience, structure, and kindness.
I am confident with daily childcare duties such as preparing meals, helping with homework, organizing fun and educational activities, bath and bedtime routines, and creating a safe and nurturing environment. I am calm under pressure, reliable, and always attentive to children’s needs and emotions.
I speak English and Afrikaans, have a valid passport, and I am very excited about the opportunity to become part of a host family’s daily life — not just as a helper, but as someone who genuinely cares about your children’s wellbeing and development.
