My name is Valentino but many people call me Val. I am a 27-year old female who is a native South African. I was born and raised in a friendly city, Port Elizabeth.
A detailed job summary of me includes being an au pair for two families who both had five kids. I was an au pair for two years in America. My first family is from Denver and the kids whom I cared for were a 3-month-old baby, 2-year-old, 4-year-old twins, and a 5-year-old.
My second family had a 1-year-old baby, a 3-year-old, a 4-year-old, a 6-year-old, and an 8-year-old.
My duties as an au pair for my two families included getting the kids ready for school, helping with homework, taking them to extra activities, feeing them, getting them ready for bed and reading to them a lot. These are only a few responsibilities mentioned.
Before I was an au pair I occasionally babysat for friends and families and I was in a management role for many years before becoming an au pair full time.
I am a very patient, caring, and energetic person. I love to stay active so I enjoy doing activities like going to the gym, reading, cooking and I do a lot of volunteering in my free time.
For a year I volunteered for sprout. Sprout is a non-profit organization that works with elderly people with special needs based in New York City.
I a very fond of working with kids so I really love what I do. I am first aid and CPR certified and I have experience with infants as young as newborn. I was also a baby nurse part-time for my last family.
