My name is Mary, and I’m excited about the opportunity to support your family as an au pair. I am currently based in Knysna.
I am a caring, reliable, and patient person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. From the age of 15, I supported a number of families in my area through regular babysitting, building strong relationships and gaining hands-on experience with children of different ages. As a young adult, I also trained as a swimming teacher, where I worked with children from as young as 3 months up to 14 years old. This has given me confidence in caring for children at different developmental stages, always prioritising safety, encouragement, and fun.
I also hold a BA in Communication Design and have always been a creative person. I love bringing this into childcare, so you can expect fun, engaging, and imaginative activities that keep children entertained while encouraging their creativity and development.
I love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn and feel comfortable. I am happy to help with daily routines, school runs, light household tasks, and activities that suit your children’s interests.
