Hello future host family
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. My name is Sinethemba, also known as Sne. I am from the beautiful and vibrant country of South Africa in Mpumalanga province also known as the place of the rising sun.
I am from a tight knit and supportive family of six, which includes my aunt, sisters, cousins and brother. My mom passed away back in 2014 so my big sister who is also my legal guardian has been taking good care of my brother and me. She is self-employed; she runs a small catering and décor business. As a family, we enjoy cooking, baking and watching movies together. We also like going out for lunch/dinner and taking family vacations once or twice a year.
I come from a small community called Kanyamazane outside the city of Mbombela that has beautiful landscapes, rolling hills and greenery. We are very close to the stunning and peaceful nature reserve called the Kruger National Park; it is a real gem for our community. In my community, we like to host festivals and events throughout the year displaying our rich heritage through music, dance, and delicious local cuisines. The one thing I love the most about my community is the strong sense of community spirit also known as Ubuntu.
I had quite a lot fun and a great experience with the children, as they were very welcoming, active, free spirited and took instructions pretty well. I used to have two different classes at the Edu-care centre. It was the 3-4 year old class which had 26 children, then it was the 4-5 year old class that had plus minus 52 children. I also babysat two siblings who were 2 and 8 year old namely Nkanyezi and Melusi.
I would like to share a little bit about myself. I am a loving, kind, honest, respectful, responsible and down to earth young woman. I love and enjoy meeting new people. In my spare time I like watching tv, listening to RnB or Amapiano music, taking walks, reading short stories on Wattpad and visiting friends. I have a great passion for plaiting hair.I am currently unemployed but from time to time I still volunteer at the crèche. My goals for the future is to go back to school and further my studies in teaching or nursing.
The rich culture, delicious food and beautiful
landmarks in your country have always fascinated me. I would also love to explore the charming streets of your town or city and indulge in some of your famous cuisines. I believe this experience will help me grow and learn more about the culture and diversity of your country.The reason I want to become an Au Pair is because I have always loved children and find it fulfilling to be part of their growth and development.
