Hi there! My name is Ari short for Ariané. I am 22 years old and recently completed my qualification in Education at the IIE Varsity College in Nelson Mandela Bay. Yes, I am an aspiring Foundation Phase teacher who is generally fun, outgoing, and who not only enjoys teaching, but learning too. I have a deeply rooted passion for children and in the same breath would like to think that they too are fond of me.

I am open to growth and a firm believer in the process. I take my work/task assigned seriously (but also not too seriously) and always try to do my very best regardless of the outcome. Why I think I would make a perfect au pair/nanny is simply because I carry good morals and strong qualities. I am tactful, able to adapt, responsible and overall a good team player. As mentioned before, I have a passion for working with children, which explains my choice of profession. Children bring me joy and keep me young by encouraging me to not always take life too seriously. Not only do I find them funny, but also creative and imaginative in nature, which allows me to learn a lot about them, and personally I enjoy that. I would like to think that I have both patience and empathy towards children. I would also like to think that I am able to create a safe space for children to express themselves which to me, I think is very crucial in shaping them holistically.

I am a lover of anything that has to do with the Arts such as music, dance, drama and story telling. I also enjoy fitness and exercise. I like spending time in my own space, occasionally going out with friends, and overall good conversations with good company.
