My name is Amber, and I am an experienced childcare professional with over 12 years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages, from toddlers taking their first steps in the water to young athletes developing advanced swimming technique. I am a native English speaker and am currently learning French. While I am not yet fluent, I am confident in my ability to communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and support children effectively within their daily routines.
Alongside my coaching experience, I have also worked as a swim manager, where I took on a wide range of responsibilities including administrative duties, front-of-house operations, scheduling, enrolment coordination, and direct communication with parents. This role strengthened my organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a structured and professional environment. It also reinforced my ability to remain calm, efficient, and solution-focused in busy, people-facing settings.
My approach to childcare is rooted in patience, structure, and encouragement. I believe in balancing routine with creativity, ensuring that each day includes both stability and opportunities for discovery.
