My name is Stella, and I am a 23-year-old from Cape Town, South Africa. I recently completed my BA Humanities degree, majoring in Psychology and Sociology. I am a friendly, caring, and energetic person who truly enjoys working with children and being part of a family environment.

I have experience as an au pair, where I was responsible for helping with daily routines such as school drop-offs and pickups, preparing meals, assisting with homework, and keeping the children engaged through fun and active activities. I always aim to create a safe, positive, and structured environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and happy. My background in Psychology has also given me a deeper understanding of child development, which helps me be patient, attentive, and responsive to each child’s individual needs.

I would describe myself as very active and hands-on. I love spending time outdoors, going for runs, and staying healthy, and I enjoy bringing that energy into my time with children—whether that’s playing outside, doing creative activities, or making everyday routines more fun. I am also very organized and reliable, and I take pride in being someone a family can trust and depend on.

Becoming an au pair abroad is something I am really excited about, as it gives me the opportunity to experience a new culture while doing something I genuinely love.
