Thank you for reading my profile.
I worked for a year as au pair with two boys and a puppy in the Netherlands in 2015 and am now looking for a new host family or an in-home caregiver position in Canada (former Live-in Caregiver program).
I was an au pair for two children (6 and 9 years old) in Helsinki, Finland, where I stayed for a year in 2013. I worked as au pair with two children (4-y-o and 6-y-o) in Vienna (Austria) the year before that. I worked in hospitality in the USA in summers '06, '07 and '08 (work&travel program). I have references available. I also have an international First Aid certificate.
I come from Russia, city of Togliatti (Samara Region) and am 32 years old (DOB 15.03.1987). I studied linguistics and translation studies in my home city and work as an English teacher, tutor and translator. So there will be no language barrier. If you are seeking a helpful, open-minded, kind, flexible, patient, caring and reliable au pair, I would be glad to offer my care for your children, pets and help in your household. I can provide help with school homework too. I have experience with dogs, cats and guinea pigs.
I have a valid driver's license (since 2006) and driving experience abroad (including wintertime). I was to drive the car every day in Helsinki to different kids' activities. I can also ride a bicycle well. I like children, music, nature, animals and am interested in travel, languages, mind, health, psychology and yoga. I am also learning to play the piano.
I studied Swedish in Finland, German in Austria and Dutch in The Netherlands. I am eager to learn any new language if needed. I am also learning French and Finnish. I am a non-smoker, do not eat meat (of course it does not matter if your family does). I have no alcohol, drug or mental issues and am not a party-goer. I can definitely offer you respect, integrity, reliability and flexibility.
Live-in or live-out are both fine with me.
