My name is Filipa. I usually go by Fil. I'm 37 years old, come from Portugal and have had the privilege of traveling for two handfuls of years, always prefering to become inconspicuous among the locals as opposed to looking like a tourist. I love absorbing different cultures and meeting new people, new customs, smells and flavors.
I thrive in personal care, especially when focused on one or two individuals so all my attention can be of utmost personalization and level. I've had experience in caring for little ones and bedridden elders, the latter up until their natural final transmutation. Throughout, cases have included personal hygiene, entertainment and hobby chaperone, at-home physical therapy, food, beverage and medication administration according to doctors' rules to those who could not self-administer, tutoring, language teaching, empathetic and informed conversation according to different ages.
My interests are many and, as an ASD person, I need to learn something new every single day. I adore researching and studying all sorts of areas and topics. I enjoy reading, working out, singing, dancing, being in nature, going to the beach, playing video games, hiking, traveling and learning new cultures, engaging with my partner and friends in intellectual discussion and simply existing, grounded, in silence. After being a Nanny or Caregiver, I would like to open my own business and turn it into a family endeavor.
