Hi!


My name is Maddie (Magdalena) and I'm from northern Poland, near the Baltic Sea. I don't smoke, don't drink, don’t party, eat healthy (I've been called a fruit monster), won't cause you any trouble :)


I’d describe myself as calm, responsible and open-minded with a positive outlook and a good sense of humor. I might be a little shy at first, but once I feel comfortable, I’m easy-going and love making genuine connections.
In my free time you’ll find me reading, watching travel videos or heading out to the cinema. I also love being outdoors - exploring new cities, hiking, cycling or swimming. I also enjoy fun fairs, art galleries, museums and discovering new cafes and restaurants (whether on my own or with the host family!). I’m definitely a kid at heart and will never say no to amusement parks or roller coasters :)


I speak english fluently (C1) and I’m currently learning spanish. I went through several child development courses and first Aid/CPR/AED training (certification with Red Cross) and hold a polish driver’s license (though I haven't had much driving experience yet! so would prefer not to drive). Travel and cultural exchange are passions of mine and so of course I have a bio-metric passport - ready for new adventures ahead, whether on my own or with your family!
If you're looking for someone experienced - I've had an internship in a preschool with kiddos 2-5 yo, helped with twins and alternating night shifts with a newborn during the first month the little one was born.
I also spent 4 months around South America with an amazing New Zealand/Australian family caring for their 3.5yo and 2-month-old and the past two years traveling the world with an amazing American/Polish family, making unforgettable memories and helping raise their adorable little girl (4 months old at the start, now 3 yo) that's like a daughter to me by now <3
