My name is Alyssa, and I am writing this letter with sincerity, hope, and gratitude. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my message and for considering me to become a part of your family as your Au Pair.

I come from the Philippines, and I grew up in a simple family where love, respect, and helping one another are very important. Ever since I was young, I have always been surrounded by children — my younger cousins, nieces, and nephews — and taking care of them became something very natural to me. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children because they bring so much happiness, warmth, and light into everyday life. I love listening to them, playing with them, helping them learn, and simply making them feel safe, cared for, and understood.

Becoming an Au Pair means so much more to me than just traveling or working abroad. It is a very meaningful opportunity that could help change my life and my family’s future. To be honest, my family is not financially stable, and here in the Philippines, continuing education can be very difficult when money is limited. In our family, no one has had the chance to finish college yet, and ever since I was younger, I promised myself that I would do everything I can to change that.

My dream is to become a Medical Technologist someday. I want to study hard, finish my education, and build a better future not only for myself but also for my family. Becoming an Au Pair is one of the opportunities that gives me hope that maybe, little by little, I can save money for my studies and continue chasing that dream. I know the journey will not be easy, but I am willing to work hard with all my heart.

I qualify for this position because I already have experience taking care of children in my family and community. I know how to assist with daily routines, help children with simple tasks, play with them, and make sure they feel cared for and comfortable. I am also open-minded, flexible, and eager to learn your family’s routines and values so I can support you in the best way possible.
