Hello Host Family,
I am Erisell and I'm 26 years old. I am an undergraduate civil engineering student currently living in the Philippines with my grandmother and my cousins and one nephew. At the moment, I am taking care of my grandmother whom I grew up with and our many dogs while giving time reviewing for the board exam that will be held next year(if I ever decided to take it).
I am from a Filipino family and I speak English and Filipino/Tagalog. I would love to give the best care to your family, your children and elderly in every aspect of it. I am willing to care for pets and that would be lovely for me as I have pets of my own at our home. I could take care of special children and I'll be more than willing to learn more about them and be guided by their families for better understanding. I can cook , mostly Filipino dish of course but I can do others as long as there's a recipe. I can do laundry, clean the house and other household chores that are needed to be done.
In my spare time I love watching or reading or going on adventure trying to learn new things. For the past years I helped my cousin's daughter by taking care of her ever since she was born, whenever her mom or grandad is not around. Hospital runs, check ups and everyday chores. Same goes for my other nieces and nephews. I don't have a child of my own yet that's why I'm the one who takes care of them when their parents are not around and I can do it just fine.
So, If given a chance, I would love to be your next au pair because I love children and I enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations, for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.
I do respect that the house is your house and that I have to follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
