Dear Future Host Family,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Catherine Ann, 26 years old from the Philippines, I live in Solsogon Samar province in the Philippines. I am an only child, but I grew up with my huge Family and bunch of cousins. I am such an adventurous person, I want to explore and experience, outside the country. To see my growth as an individual, plus I love taking care of children I took care of my two cousins when they were just toddlers whose now 15 and 17 years old which a long time ago.
Back in 2021 my mom’s best friend friend lived in our house for 8 months with her newly born baby Jao, whose currently 4 years old right now. Also took care of him for 6 months until they moved into their new home which is next to our house. And in 2022 in my work at a spa for 2 years, my part time job was baby sitting for almost 2 years, my manager son Christoff whose now 3 years old. I had a nanny experience in 2022. Until I went back to my hometown.
During the summer we would go hangout at the beach with my family and some of my friends and enjoy the rest of the summer. In the weekends, my friends and I would go to the mountains and pick some fresh fruits, like guavas, soursop, and fresh vegetables. Such fun times. Currently taking care of my nephew 3 years old. How I got interested to be an aspiring au pair, is I want to explore, experience, the culture outside my country to see what there is to offer. I am willing to adjust a different climate, culture and environment, what do I do in my free time, going on the lakes or we call it “ilog” in our language hangout with friends, ride bikes and play at the public park. I know how to clean the house properly, I can multitask, and having a long patience with children is no problem with me.
I hold a valid Drivers license, I have been driving since 2018, I could say I’m good at it. I can wait to be part, of your Family future host fam.
