Greetings in peace!
My name is Jecille Padel, I am from the Philippines and I would like to become an Au Pair to your lovely family. It was always been a great dream of mine to experience the different culture of a foreign country. I would like to go in your country because I think it is a beautiful country with deep history, beautiful people and endearing culture. I am really fascinated by the marvelous sceneries of your country which I only saw in television and internet.
I am from a far province of Agusan del Sur which is located at Poblacion, Santa Josefa in the island of Mindanao, and country side of the Philippines. I am a typical province girl who sent to the big city to attend college. My father is a Business man, he own a small business here in my city and he support our college tuition. He is not only a Business man he is also a preacher in our church. My mother is a store keeper & House wife too, my mother also likes a flower and she has a small garden where she grows flowers or plants to sell them afterwards. My parents is a very hardworking, which I am extremely proud of. They raised me and my siblings without any complaints. We raised well. They taught us everything they know in life. My parents trained us to be independent and trustworthy individuals. They coached us on how to run a household without a servant but ourselves alone.
I have two siblings, one older sister and one little brother, my sister is now married with a loving husband and a cute baby in her tummy, she work hard to support her needs and to her family. My little brother is still studying, He also work hard to finish his studies. I am so lucky because I have a loving and caring family which is my inspiration in my whole life with God fearing. The reason why I work hard because of them.
I am flexible and creative person. I tend to overthink things sometimes, but I don’t consider it as a weakness rather as an advantage. Because of that, I manages to finish my assigned task well on biggest hobby. I also love watching documentaries about ancient kingdoms, Movies, cartoons, the royal people, about wild animals and etc. I am currently taking up BS Information Technology here in Tagum city, Philippines.
I started caring for children years ago. I always look after my auntie’s twin children whenever I am on a vacation in their homes. I played with them, taught them on how to read and compute, cook for them, singing with their favorite cartoon’s movies and etc. I eventually mastered child care when I once I lived with my auntie to lessen expenses in boarding a house. I must say patience and sincere affection is the key to right and successful childcare. I can also do households chores diligently, it’s a natural thing for me already. I was brought up not depending on others to do somethings for me.
For me, learning and experiencing a new culture is a must in person’s life. It is a way immersing yourself to a new environment which can help you as a person with substance and purpose.
