Dear Family,

Hello! I’m excited and can't wait to meet you all very soon! That said, I would like to begin by introducing myself. My name is Hycinth Mae, but you can also call me Trisha. I'm 23 years old and I'm from the Philippines. I consider myself to be an optimistic, responsible, enthusiastic, perceptive, and compassionate person who enjoys spending time with children, learning about new cultures, and communicating with individuals from different cultural backgrounds. It will be an honor to be an au pair in Europe because I see it as an opportunity to form cultural exchange, personal growth, and my love for children. Additionally, it feels like the perfect adventure and experience for me.

I grew up in a loving family that taught me the importance of kindness, respect, and helping one another. I've gained childcare experience from babysitting my nieces and nephews, as well as the children of my parents' godchild. I've always enjoyed spending time with children, such as creating fun games for the younger kids in my neighborhood. I love seeing kids smile. I enjoy spending time with children because they are lively, inventive, and curious. And I find it so rewarding to spend time with children while they learn new things, have fun, acquire confidence, and grow in a secure and safe environment.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, watching, playing outdoor activities, music, dancing, going for walks or strolling, trying a new coffee shop, or just simply having a conversation or sharing some stories with someone. I’d love to share my hobbies with your children, especially those outdoor activities since most of them are traditional ones from the Philippines, and I would love to learn about their favorite activities as well. I also enjoy exploring new places, trying new foods, and learning new languages, which is why I’m excited to experience daily life in The Netherlands and also excited to experience your culture.

As an au pair, I hope to become like an older sibling to your children, someone who supports them, plays with, and cares for them as well as someone they can laugh with, trust, and feel comfortable around. I’m happy to help with daily routines, homework, and light household tasks so that life runs smoothly for everyone.
