Dear host family,
I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
My name is Vanessa. I am 27 years old, from the province of Northern Mindanao Oroquieta City in Philippines, but I was born and grow up in Zamboanga Province in Philippines. My parents are Lourdes (56) and Ronilo (60), and we are 5 siblings, my elder sister is Loury Mae (32 married with one daughter) my elder brother Raymond (29 with fiancé) my younger sister Ma. Fatima (21 still studying in college) my younger brother Noel (18) and I’m the middle child among my siblings.  We have dogs, cats and rabbits, who love to cuddle all day. My father works as carpenter as part time worker, my mother is a housewife. Overall, we are a pretty happy family.

I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my family because they most important to me. Always trying to help and, I’m always there for them if they need me. In my free time, I like to listen to music, watch movies, drawing, sketching and painting. Furthermore, I sometimes reads a book and singing – even though I cannot sing well. I dance but little only.
I work as an HR Coordinator from an agency, my workmates and everyone at work are nice to me. When my sister and brother was younger, I also took care of them, when our mum was not around. When I finished high school I stop my studies and go to my elder sister place and take care of my niece since my sister have work and also her husband. I became very close to them and I cherish the time I have spent with them.Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them.
The reason why I want to go to outside my country as an aupair is that I want to get to know the American way of life as well as different cultures and learn their language as well as meet new friends from foreign country. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would be great to improve my English skills as well.
I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
