Dear Host Family

First of all I would like to say that I am already excited about getting to know you. And thank you that you take the time to read my letter. With this, I bring you closer to my life. I try my best as possible to describe my life my wishes and my dreams for my mom and close friends who are dear to me and of course myself.

My name is Jeavil , I’m 37 years old I will be turning 38 this December by God’s Grace. I live separately in a small city on Northern Mindanao Cagayan de Oro for living. I work as a debt collector in a company. It is a very stressful and a very pressure kind of work. I’ve been working here for almost 5 years now and decided to shift my career that is very exciting, enjoyable and new environment for me. I have a very loving relationship with my colleagues, they treat me like their mom because I gave advice and they lean on me their problems.

To know me more and give you impression of me I want to start telling you about me and my personality.

I would like to describe myself as an independent, honest, friendly, jolly person, positive and open minded who wants to explore and interested in knowing new countries and people. In my free time I go out with friends, watching new films in cinema. Loves traveling and exploring the beauty of my land Philippines. When I am at home, I just love doing the chores and after those tiring day, I love watching television.

Furthermore I want to share to you my life. When I was a child, I live alone with my mom. She’s the only person who supported and my studies. She’s a very hardworking and independent woman “My Super Mom” I am not ashamed of her. They we’re separated with my dad since I was a child. I saw my dad only once, when I was in my 1st grade. During my college days, I worked as an office assistant in my school to support my studies with full coverage of tuition fee free of charge.

I am happy with my life, I never ask anything for my mom. I am soo blessed and contented but I’ve to go abroad and been wishing for several years. Also is a some kind of journey to find myself and repay the hard work and sacrifices of my mom for me.

Moreover I got married sometime on 2005 at the age of 23 running 24. We live together for 7 years but unfortunately our marriage doesn’t work. I am a battered wife, I got miscarriage during our 5th years of being together. Since then I never bare a child.

Finally I just wanted to be responsible for myself, to be more independent to discover the needs I have and who I really am. UK and Philippines is too far and a Boundless Country of possibilities for greener pastures. The country people everything seems very totally different from the things here. I wanted to alternatively displace it by contrary experience.

In conclusion, I would like to thank you very much for taking your time to get to know me better. I look forward to being an AuPair and also a family member in your family and to spend a great and unforgettable year.
