Dear host family,

I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.


My name is Mae. I am 24 years old and from Bohol, Philippines. With my parents, Noel (50) and Arile (51), and my 7 siblings. I am a third child. I help taking care of my 5 younger siblings. My dad woks at the small shop in my town and my mom is a housewife. Overall, we are a pretty large family, I also had 3 nephew and 2 niece. I really love playing and taking care of them. They love to play with me also.

I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends; they are – as well as my family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me.
In my free time, I like to listen to music, go shopping or dance. Dancing is one of my favorite hobbies and I am also teaching young children at a local dancing club. Furthermore, I enjoy reading a good book and singing – even though I cannot sing.
At the moment, I work as a front desk officer. I enjoy this job very much, because I am able to bond with many of my clients. I also worked as a cashier at Greenwich Pizza last 2020 .

I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
